Dr. Xi (Cathy) Kan is the Founder of EthMirAIcle Lab and a Staff Machine Learning Scientist at Visa Research. She holds a Ph.D. in Decision Sciences and Industrial Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). She has over a decade of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and decision analytics.

 

Passionate about preparing the next generation for an AI-driven world, Dr. Kan founded EthMirAIcle Lab to provide engaging, age-appropriate AI education for K–12 students. Through partnerships with schools and community organizations, she develops hands-on programs that help students explore artificial intelligence, computational thinking, creativity, and responsible technology use.
